Wow, thanks for posting these!

Unfortunately, as Stephane stated, if MTS files are converted straight to AVI files using the Koyotesoft converter, VirtualDub won't recognize them.

But another way around this is to convert them to MP4 files instead, then use MP4CAM2AVI software to convert the MP4 files to AVI files.

MP4CAM2AVI is free, and converts MP4 and MOV files to AVI files with no loss of quality, and does it within seconds. I've been using this software to convert the MP4 files from my GoProHD to AVI files so I can use them in Virtual Dub.

This is one extra step for the MTS files, but so far has worked like a charm.
