 F-One Bandit and CamRig
The Bandit from F-One is one of the only kites on the market that has its central strut completely stitched to the canopy. It makes it impossible to wrap straps around the strut to hold the CamRig housing.
Paul, early CamRig user, has been very determined to make it work and managed to attach the KiteCamRig to his Bandit's strut by gluing Velcro straps directly to the strut itself, using the famous Shoe Goo. See photo.

 Re: F-One Bandit and CamRig
That is my Bandit (original Bandit premiere, 2008) with velcro attached pictured in the above post. The attached picture is a good example of the resulting pictures. They are actually pretty good with the exception of the interfeerence in upper right (see more below).
I attached the Velcro with a Shoe Goo product called Amazing Goop (either Household or Regular - I have used both for kites -- I believe they are both essentially the same and not that different from Shoe Goo either). I did not remove the bladders - actually they were pumped up to facilitate attaching the velcro.
Regarding the interference at upper right. That is actually one of the valves on the LE (in some of my pics it is more interfering). So, I probably should have mounted the velcros to the bladder an inch farther from the LE (most important) and also it helps to take care how the camera is attached to the strut (less important). I usually just slap the camera on to strut without paying much attention - this may not be well tolerated with this placement of velcros in combination with the LE valve placement. Also, I have not kept track whether the problem is better on either the 7.5m or 9m both of which have been modded.
Additional double sided velcro is used -- placed wherever it can be accommodated -- to make the connection as secure as possible since this setup is slightly less secure than when wrapping the velcro around the strut. IMPORTANT - be sure to have a safety tether in case camera falls off (which it has approx. 1 of 10 times with this setup).
